TEDxKent Inaugural Event celebrates Ideas Worth Spreading: January 2010 Monday 18th January, first day of term at the University of Kent saw the first-ever arrival of TEDxKent an 'independently organized TED event' under the new TEDx global outreach program. A 100 invited delegates from a variety of backgrounds and UK counties came together to share the spirit of a TED conference in a local TEDx format, one where the sharing of new ideas, concepts and conversations were encouraged through a wide array of thought-provoking and innovative presentations. |
